The Center for Breast Health and Imaging will hold its fourth annual
³Pops in Pink² fundraiser Saturday, June 1 at 7 p.m. at the Mississippi
Homestead Center. The event, which was created to raise money for the
Center¹s patient assistance fund, features live music from the late 50s and
early 60s, food and drinks.
Former CBHI office manager Cherri Lightsey, who is a breast cancer
survivor, started the fundraiser for women who are uninsured.
³Early detection tests for breast cancer saves thousands of lives
each year,² said Lightsey. ³It¹s encouraging to see our community come
together to raise money for these women who may otherwise not receive

OCH Center for Breast Health & Imaging or the OCH Regional Medical Center
Social Services Department. Individuals may apply for themselves or for an
individual for whom they are responsible such as their child, parent or

the Center for Breast Health and Imaging on Hospital Road, at the Book Mart
and Cafe on Main Street or at the door for $25 for a single ticket or $40
