ECCC men’s and women’s tennis teams pick up wins over Northeast

> The East Central Community College tennis teams defeated Northeast Mississippi Community College, Tuesday, March 29, in matches on the Decatur campus.

> The ECCC men’s team won 8-1 to improve to 3-8 overall, and the women’s team won 6-3 to improve its overall record to 4-7.

> Men’s Singles: EC’s John Jimenez of Oruro, Bolivia, beat Jesus Osorio, 6-0, 6-0; EC’s Will Stewart of Newton County High School fell to Jacob Price, 3-6, 6-7 (5-7); EC’s Cole Duty of Winston Academy beat Cory Lindsey, 6-0, 6-3; EC’s Devin Skinner of Neshoba Central High School beat Payton Pearce, 6-2, 6-3; EC’s Brandon Rogers of Winston Academy beat Cade Scroggins, 6-3, 6-3; and EC’s Graham Murphree of Newton County High School beat Nathan Cleveland, 6-1, 6-0.
