Grenada Reservoir Youth Fishing Rodeo

> JACKSON –Youth 15 years and younger are invited to a fishing rodeo at the Grenada Reservoir catfish ponds beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday, June 11. The free event is hosted by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP).

> The Grenada Reservoir catfish ponds are located near the north end of the Grenada Reservoir dam. Participants are encouraged to bring their own fishing gear, catfish bait, and stringers.

> The event is a good opportunity for young anglers to fish a lake that is well stocked with catfish which are typically easy to catch. Families are invited to come enjoy quality time together in a safe environment.
