Mississippi Development Authority to Launch Contractor License Readiness Workshop Series Oct. 12 in Mayhew, Miss.

> Jackson, Miss. (Sept. 29, 2016) – The Mississippi Development Authority and the Northeast Mississippi Contract Procurement Center will launch the first Contractor License Readiness Workshop on Wednesday, Oct. 12 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the East Mississippi Community College Golden Triangle Campus’ CMTE building, 8731 S. Frontage Road in Mayhew, Miss.

> The workshop is designed to help prepare the state’s contractors and subcontractors who may be interested in pursuing the proper licensure, or “Certificate of Responsibility,” as by the Mississippi State Board of Contractors.

> Sam Carradine, contractor development consultant from Sterling, Va., is the featured speaker. Topics covered include: Getting Ready: Pre-License Qualification Requirements, Stepping Up: Applying for the License Exams and Bringing It Home: Test-Taking Tips.
